Mutual Funds
Every fund in your portfolio has a job, a goal date, and a reason to stay.
How we do it
We start with dates, not funds. Retirement in 2041. College in 2032. A flat down payment in 2029. Each date gets its own bucket.
Short dates get debt and hybrid funds. Long dates get equity. As a date gets closer, we move money down the risk ladder every year, so a market fall in the final stretch cannot derail the goal.
Then we pick funds. We look for consistent process, reasonable cost, and managers who do what they said they would do. We avoid owning the same 30 stocks through five different schemes.
Every six months, we send you one page: each goal, the money set aside for it, and whether it is on track.
Questions
What clients ask us first.
Do you charge a separate fee for mutual funds?
No. As an AMFI-registered distributor we are paid a trail commission by the fund house, included in the regular plan's expense ratio. We tell you the exact figure on request.
How many funds should I hold?
Usually 5 to 8. Beyond that, most portfolios start holding the same stocks several times over.
How often do you review my portfolio?
A full review every six months, and a short check whenever a goal date, income or market changes sharply.
Can you work with funds I bought elsewhere?
Yes. We start every engagement by mapping what you already own, including direct plans.

A Mumbai family's retirement math at 45
₹1.2 lakh a month today becomes ₹2.9 lakh at 60. We walk through the corpus, the gap, and the ₹57,000 SIP that closes it for one Powai family.
