One office in Powai. 22 years. The same people answering the phone.

Plabita started Aksh Finserv in 2004 from a small office in Powai. The first clients were neighbours and colleagues who wanted someone to explain their insurance papers in plain language. Twenty-two years later, more than 1,500 families work with us, and she still sits in on every first review.

Her rule is simple: no product gets recommended until we know what the money is for. She has been named to MDRT Top of the Table, the AWMIE Top 100 Women in Finance list in 2019, and Kotak Life's Living Legend recognition. She will tell you the award she values most is the number of clients whose children now have their own folders with us.

Sanjiv co-founded Aksh Finserv and runs our insurance, annuity and debt practice. He reads policy wordings so clients do not have to, and he has a habit of finding the clause that matters on page 31.

Most of his week goes into two questions. Is this family covered for the risk that would actually hurt them? And will the income they retire on arrive every month, on time, for as long as they need it?
